Arise:March Family Prayer Launch

  • St Thomas Philadelphia Conference Centre Gilpin Street Sheffield, England, S6 United Kingdom (map)

In partnership with God for Kids, the Arise:March Family Prayer Launch empowers your family with new and fun ways to pray together.

Aimed at families with children aged 4-10, this interactive hour-long experience helps parents/carers and their children to explore child-friendly ways to connect with God.

The activities are free-flow to allow you and your child to focus on the ones that you enjoy the most and include:

  • An indoor prayer-walking trail: jump from footstep to footstep and look out for things to pray for along your route.

  • A play-room zone: enjoy some classic family games together with a twist - each game comes with fresh instructions, helping you to explore the character of God with your child while playing.

  • A prayer-walk planning station: start with our printed maps of Sheffield, or draw your own as you plan a prayer-walk with your family.

  • A kitchen table zone: with special colouring and activity sheets, explore with your child how God is with us as we prayer-walk.

  • A cosy reading corner: snuggle up and enjoy a book or two that help you and your child connect with God.

  • An app table: enjoy guilt-free screen time together as you explore the God for Kids app - and the Arise:March Prayer app on our dedicated tablets.

PLUS: each child who attends will receive a party bag including a wipe-clean kids’ prayer-walking prompt for you to enjoy together throughout March and beyond.

To fit in with your family’s routine, two entry times are available - 10am and 11am - select your preferred time when booking.

Tickets are free! Normally £5 per family, Arise is subsidising this prayer experience to ensure that all families can attend.

Space is limited to ensure that there is space for all the families to explore the prayer experience freely.
