“I’d love to prayer-walk if I had more time.”
You’re already so busy serving God where you are: we understand that it’s hard to fit anything else in. Martin Luther once famously said, “I have so much to do today that I shall spend the first three hours in prayer.” While three hours might not be achievable today, here are a few ideas for praying with Arise:March even in a busy season:
Share your own prayer needs, and pray for others
Arisers across Sheffield are praying for the needs they’ve discovered in their communities. Share a prayer need from your own life on the Arise:March Prayer app to invite other Arisers to pray for you, and pick a few from the list to bring to Jesus in your own prayer time today.
Open up the app today and click the ‘Prayer Needs’ tab to get started.
Prayer-walk during your daily routine
Do you have a regular commute, or school run? Do you walk to the shops, or to help your baby sleep? Any of these can become times of prayer. Ask Jesus to give you a window in your schedule in which to take a walk with him this week.
Invite others to join you
Busy looking after little ones? Print the Kids Prayer Prompt and enjoy a time of prayer-walking with them.
Meeting with a prayer partner or small group this week? Why not take a prayer-walk with them?
Only free in the evenings? Join the area prayer Zoom on Tuesday 21 March, 8pm.
